Welcome to my blog.
I apologize for being difficult to track down. I’ll try to fill this blog with as many new photos and explanations as I can think of. I will probably divert my writings to other areas of my past that somehow relate to amateur film making. I’ll tell stories when the mood strikes me. I will make it as personal as I can. I hope that you will enjoy my technique. Eventually when I learn how to use the bells and whistles of a blog I’ll have categories for you to zero in on.
I make my living by being a carpet repair and install specialist. If you would like to check out a web page that is being designed for my business go to my carpet repair website and feel free to brouse around it.

John,
So glad you have decided to start this blog, since posting the first Cinemagic article on the film, I have seen a lot of interest. You might say the web curiosity surrounding the film has been centered around the posts I have made on it, since there were so few other sites focusing on it. I am glad to have been a central point for fans to come to, to find out more, and now I can point them to the actual source for more information! Thanks so much!

John, do you have a Facebook page also? If so, you could create a Fan Page for the film, and post there when you create a new entry here. I am thrilled that you have decided to do this blog, because it not only is a behind the scenes look at the making of an ambitious fan film, but other aspects of a fan’s life. Keep it up, buddy!
By the way, you might also want to link to the Youtube post about the film, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiZT-TQrleQ
One of the commenters was not thrilled at first about my captions for the screen captures he sent me, but after I explained that they were not belittling the film, but adding humor to the images out of context, he understood and was fine with it.

John – glad you are doing this! You caused me to divert several years and a lot of long summer days and long winter nights to building bits and pieces of the USS Enterprise bridge — I already had phasers, communicator and translator in inventory 🙂
I’ve always remembered that Cinemagic article. In fact, looking around my office as I write this I see all the radios, computers and other electronics with the blinky lights we know are absolutely required by any state of the art starship. Seriously. (Psst: Please don’t tell my wife I bought this stuff based on the number of knobs and lights it has!)
I guess the only grudge is for the intervening 35 years since the publicity campaign. Anticipation is wonderful but really I can’t wait to see it.
Best wishes –
